- For electrical insulation of the electrodes area of a CCFL tube
- For thermal insulation of the electrodes area of a CCFL tube, especially for small diameters
- For a mechanical covering and protection of the contacts of the electrodes and cables
Additional notes
The insulation of the electrodes area with silicone caps is mandatory because of the heat of that place and the high AC voltages of the inverter!
